  • A. For our training and experience programs at Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum, you can apply in person (70%) or through our website (30%). If you are put on a waitlist because it has reached capacity, we will contact you individually on a first come, first served basis in case of cancellations.

  • A. Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    We are closed Mondays, on January 1st, Chuseok and Lunar New Year's Day.

  • A. To book a group visit, please contact the Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum Main Office (054-480-2687) in advance to discuss the size of the group and the visit date/time with the person in charge.

  • A. We do not have particular hours for guided tours at Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum. You can put in a request with the Culture Tourism Guide who is available on the day of your visit. For a group visit, you can request a guided tour at the same time when booking a ticket in advance.

  • A. You are allowed to take photos inside the galleries. However, flash photography is not permitted because it could cause damage to artifacts and be distracting to other visitors. To use a tripod or other special equipment, please consult the Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum Main Office (054-480-2683) in advance.

  • A. At Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum, we offer 24 parking spaces at the Museum building (22 regular, 2 for the disabled), and 5 more spaces (4 regular, 1 for the disabled) at Baegun Park for cafe visitors. If the parking spaces are all occupied, please use the Geumo Land parking lot and Geumosan Parking Lots 2 and 3 (paid, ₩1,500).

  • A. We do not provide any lodging at Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum.

  • A. 1. Volunteer opportunities for high school and university students -Apply for a volunteer position at 1365 Volunteer Portal (https://www.1365.go.kr/vols/main.do). When you receive a confirmation text message, visit on the scheduled date and time.
    2. Volunteer opportunities for adults - You can apply to the Gumi Neo-Confucian History Museum Main Office (054-480-2687) at any time. We only accept applications from those who can participate for at least 3 months.
